A seminar on Dengue Awareness and Protection was organized by Sahiwal Education Department at Divisional Public School and College Chichawatni Campus.
Addressing the seminar. DDEO Elementary Iftikhar Alvi said that it is the responsibility of the new generation to keep their surroundings clean so that they can be protected from infectious diseases.
He said that in order to deal with a disease like dengue, it was important for students to ensure that the guidelines recommended by the government were followed in their homes, areas and schools.
On this occasion, Assistant Education Officer Abuzar gave a detailed account of the steps being taken by the Education Department to prevent dengue.
Addressing the seminar, Vice Principal Mudassar Rizwan apprised the students about the background and harms of dengue and urged the children to take precautionary measures to prevent and eradicate it and clean the environment of their homes and surroundings.
